George had three grass seeds removed summer before last and that was bad enough poor Zak I hope everything will be fine from now.

Been back at vets this morning. She's really pleased with the way he's healing and the fact he's walking on four legs again
Has redressed his leg with a smaller bandage(has to keep his lampshade tho) and we are back again on tuesday morning.
Fingers crossed that he's on the mend and there's nothing else in there.
Thank you so much everyone for your kind words and thoughts.

sue and zak x

Got up this morning and the little  >:D had pulled his dressing down and made one of the wounds bleed (yes the lampshade is really working :-\)
So it was off to the vets yet again!
Has new dressing, secured with lots of sticky tape so here's hoping it lasts the weekend.

yes Mark its very strange walking one at a time :-\ can't wait to get back to double dogs!!

:lol2: He's a wee monkey! It's worth saying that silica can make a wound look worse. It works by pushing the foreign body to the surface.....a bit like a boil coming to a head and bursting (sorry to be so graphic)  ph34r
