20/20 eye clinic in Scotland
« on: February 28, 2009, 01:20:30 PM »
Just wondered if there are any plans to organise or hold a 20/20 clinic north of the border?

If it was done with swabs and not blood, would a vet need to be present?

Presumably a scanner would have to be in attendance?

I am sure that it would be well supported!!

it would be nice if it was in the north of scotland or at least north of edinburgh glasgow. but i suppose it will be where all the people are.

You don't need to be close to someone doing a 20/20 clinic - contact OptiGen and providing your sample arrives at the right time you can participate in a satellite clinic and still receive the discount.

The microchip has to be verified and there is space on the forms to sign but the person would need a scanner - there is a space on the form for practice stamp so would presume they are expecting a vet to do it.

Contact OptiGen for info as they are very helpful. Don't forget to test for FN also (Antagene)
