'clicking' joints

Hi all,

Hazel has very 'clicky' joints in her rear legs, most noticeable when you're trying to scoop her up for some reason and she goes all limp and sack of spuds like. 
I've never had this before with either M or J as puppies or now.. is this normal ?  Should I give her cod liver oil?
