;) Thank You everyone for your kind thoughts...

The vet couldnt feel any blockages and said that as she had been passing faeces (and still is) he doubts this is the case...

Typically, she has eaten her dinner tonight (took forever-one piece at a time) and she has been playing with her toys allbeit half heartedly...however she has gone all whingy again...just wish these little guys could talk  :-\

I don't wish to alarm you, but Millie was 'perfectly normal' in all respects, except vomiting up bile and being a bit weird sometimes (in terms of being 'worried' about her food).  They couldn't feel anything in her either, and the bark didn't show up on her X-ray, then they endoscoped her, and then went in for the bark.  :-\

Hi,

Sending well vibes to Freya.

Just to add to what KellyT said, they couldn't 'feel' the milk bottle lid that Florence swallowed recently- it was stuck in her tummy, not causing a blockage but causing stomach agitation as it was too big to pass through or for her to sick up. They did an ultrasound as x-ray doesn't show plastic and then removed it via an endoscopy. If it does go down this route, I just wanted to offer some reassurance, that Florence was absolutely fine after hers, she was a bit tired from being knocked out but the next day was 100% right as rain. (she has got a dodgy hair cut mind where they shaved her tum for the ultrasound!)

Hope she's feeling better soon.

Another vote for an x-ray here.  ;)

When we collected Benjy springer, the pound had 'forgotten' to tell us that he'd eaten half of his bedding that morning. The pound was in Devon (its a long story) and we live in Carlisle so when he started being sick, the vet couldn't feel anything and we all put it down to the travelling. Fast forward 16 hours and he was being operated on, they removed the equivalent of one and a half teatowels worth of bedding from his stomach and intestines.

Even after the vet visit he was eating (reluctantly), occasionally being sick and still passing faeces, but then got dramatically worse, needing emergency surgery. If you don't think Freya is right, please ask for an x-ray to be done, if only for peace of mind. :bigarmhug:

Have had a long chat to Freya and explained I'd rather be told I'm a worry pot by the vet than to wait and see, so will be taking her for further tests tom am, vet said to drop her off before 9am....fingers crossed I'm over cautious!!!

Thanks for all your replies....so glad COL exists  :bigarmhug:

Best of luck for today! You are definitley doing the right thing. When Lillie had a blockage it took 3 visits over 4 days to feel the blockage as is was tucked up under her rib cage at first!
