also I think with a workers flatter head some top-knottage looks completely different than on the very domed bonce....

and really, who cares with a worker - they'll never meet (nor do they aspire to meet) show cocker breed standard so why should they have to be groomed like one?  

Oh no I agree and Jarvis certainly suits his.   I do what the owner wants within reason   to Cockers or non Cockers. It's just not my personal preference on my own dogs and sometimes does look very strange as in what I said above.   I think it's like people, some people can carry off certain dooos and some can't.

Dave doesn't have a topknot... he gets a full on 'fro and looks like something from the muppets..... he's just been shaved to within and inch of his life and smells a lot better too
