4th Generation Ipad Owners Opinions Please

Got DD one for xmas and it gets hot.

Rang Apple support today and they have advised it may be a software problem, to back it up and restore all settings as a new ipad, they've emailed instructions on how to do.

Has anyone else come across this problem? It doesn't get warm or burny hot, just hot, whether it's in its cover or not.

Have you googled it? It seems that some owners have had similar issues and have had the units exchanged

I haven't noticed this but will keep a check on it to make sure it's not happening.
Mine probably doesnt get used that much, probably 2-3 hours a day.
