I have recently just got back from Mums house and yesterday I went to turn on my macbook to go on the internet but it wont connect to wireless it was fine at her house working normally etc. I havent changed anything, it just says that the computer was unable to join the airport network i selected. I'm pretty sure i've done everything right and the internets fine on the main PC i just don't understand why it wont connect to my laptop, it usually works automaticaly when i come home but this time it wont even work manually.
help would be sooooooooooooo appreicated

If you used the computer at your mum's did you use different network, it might be trying to detect her network not your home one? Also have you knocked the switch / button which turns the WLAN on and off, on my old laptop it was easy to knock it as it was on the front.

this somtimes happens on my wireless laptop do dah, i turn off the modem upstairs and let it start up again that usually works? worth a try?

His mate has just popped around and they've disappeared in direction of pub, leaving me with the washing up!! .
It should be in my computer equivalent (I don't use Macs) under accessibility or internet kind of heading. If your other PC is working ok then your network is running ok, so turning the router off prob won't fix the problem, it's a setting issue on the actual machine that's the fault.

In the bottom right hand corner where all small icons are, Right click on Wireless Network Connection, the icon is a picture of a computer screen with sonar waves, and click Repair, before doing this right click and click view available  wireless networks. If it dosent repair and renew your connection, please post again, and i will try to help
