"This Video Requires Flash 8 or Newer"?

Getting so  >:D with my computer. When I want to look at certain things (a slideshow on photo bucket for example) it says this:

This video requires Flash 8 or newer. Go to http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash to get it!

So, I go and install the latest version of flash etc as it says, it still comes up with the error message! I've restarted etc but it still won't work. I used to be able to watch vids/slideshows etc  so I don't know whats happened?!

I had this problem too for a while. What worked for me was downloading the Flash uninstaller from HERE and using that to clear my PC of all previous Flash installations, then rebooting and doing a clean install of the newest version of Flash. Hope it works for you too :D
