Does anyone have any recommendations for good books on gundog training or spaniel training in specific?
I have a couple of books by Joe Irving (Training Spaniels and Professional Gundog Training) and also one called Gundog Training Made Easy ( ph34r) by Eric Begbie which is great as it uses totally positive methods and is very easy to understand for raw novices like me.
Just wondering if anyone had come across anything else or any other authors they like?

A couple from my library:
Working Gundogs by Martin Deeley
Hup! Training Flushing Spaniels by James B. Spencer

The Keith Erlandon (I think thats his name) book is a good one. Also the broadsheets by Eric Begbie which follow a simple structure

The gundog club has some good training guides that you can buy.
just google gundog club.

If anyone would like the broadsheets pm me

Santa is hopefully bringing me 'Clicker Gundog' by Helen Phillips

Our baby is due at the beginning of march so I will be a little more house bound than usual, so I am hoping to use the clicker stuff in the house and garden to help stimulate him a bit while we aren't out so much. Thats the plan anyway.

I would also recommend Working Gundogs by Martin Deeley

I have clicker gundog, its good, but I find it a bit HPRey.
I like the new book produced by sporting shooter, lots of nice pictures :D
Also save all the sporting shooter mags and file the training articles as they are very clear

Quite a few years ago I was very fortunate to attend a shoot/seminar with Martin Deeley. He is very good, and very kind with the dogs, and also with dummies like me!
