Don't get me on Spaniels and pills. Having my own nightmare 😵‍💫😵‍💫  Gemma was on Metacam, but after only 3 doses it started to act on her kidneys. 
I wonder if yumove will help Millie as a joint supplement.   I know Gemma is older, but as she is going through a " it smells like poison" stage I haven't been able to get her to take her daily dose. And it is showing in her movements

Sorry to be late reading your post.  I hope Millie is still ok.  No doubt you will be keeping an eye on her but if it does happen again in the next few weeks/months, as BizzyLizzy & I have experience of back problems, please take her back to the vets.  Hugs to Millie
