Electronic flea combs
« on: July 26, 2004, 10:05:52 PM »
Has anyone tried an electronic flea comb or have any knowledge of them.
Are they effective?

A fellow dog walker mentioned them to me a couple of days ago, but she wasn't sure if they were suitable for long haired dogs.

I just wondered if they worked and were ok to use on a puppy.
If they do the job, then I would prefer to use this method to kill fleas and ticks than lots of chemicals.

I hope someone can say whether they are any good or not as I notice they are in the new Argos catalogue!

If they're anything like the human version then they're a waste of money - especially in long haired breeds.

I've heard that the human ones are rubbish, if that helps.

Oh, ok......It sounds like I'm better off sticking with the drops and the old fashioned type of flea comb!!!

I had a feeling they might be a waste of money....I'm glad I didnt send off for one.
