Whimpering
« on: November 04, 2013, 08:23:34 PM »
I'm having issues with Alex's behaviour at the moment..... He isn't obeying any instruction.
he comes up the stairs, over and over again and when you tell him "down" he sits there on the stairs and looks at you until you psychically start to follow him down..... 10 seconds later he's back up again!
Doesn't matter who is downstairs or upstairs (so its not just me he he is missing) kids can be upstairs and me dwn and he does it. Me upstairs and everyone else downstairs and he does it!!  >:(

also he is obsessed with feet. He lies in front of you while you trying to get past, chases after your feet while trying to walk, nibbles on your feet while sat down, paws at your feet if you sit crossed legged

it's getting really frustrating and I'm getting really fed up of it..... Is there any suggestion as to why he seems so clingy and agitating and whimpers when he doesn't get his own way?

As Yvonne isn't online at the moment, I hope she won't mind me answering on her behalf Mark. Alex is about 21 months old and I know Yvonne has mentioned the foot nibbling thing as a problem before now.

Hi guys,

The foot nibbling has been going on for a bit but its got to the point that he has nearly caused a few accidents with people tripping over him

Wasn't sure if it was normal playful behaviour

I'm just at the end of my tether with him, isn't listening at all. He just sits and blatantly ignores you. Was wondering whether to speak to a trainer again and get some advice on "starting again"???
