Alternative To Advocate.

Hi, can anyone recommend a good alternative to Advocate, that I can purchase without a prescription..........Thanks

The only problem is that Advocate treats not only fleas but heartworm and intestinal worms etc, I was not aware that there was something around that combined both.

I did use Advantix also by Bayer and my vet was very reasonable - by boy is black and seeing a tick is difficult.  But now I just by Frontline both a spot on, I am not at ease with the 3 month tablet, and Drontal wormer.

As for Advocate it seems to be available on Ebay....unclear why as I thought it was like Advantix and required a prescription.

Hope someone comes along with some ideas
