Which Slicker ???
« on: May 06, 2003, 11:34:52 AM »
Hi Guys

Well Douglas hates being brushed with the slicker brushes I currently have so could somebody recommend a nice soft one that will get through his coat and make him look lovely before being presented to the Judge  ;D  ;D

You can get various soft slickers - Mikki do a good one & Hub International also do a range of Tender Care slickers "for the delicate dog" - they sound just the job for Douglas ;) Hub have a website at http://www.hubint.com/

Poppy will appreciate that link too. She's a bit of a delicate flower too and I've been planning to buy a new slicker  :)

Thanks Jane

It is amazing, the difference the right brush makes.  I got a curved one with longish pins ??? thinking I could be more thorough with it but Morgan couldn't bear it.  I now have a small flat one which suits him much better - will keep a note of the links for when we need a replacement. thanks  :)

I use the Lawrence soft touch slicker - got it for Jasper as he was a wuss. It is great - saves your fingers a bit too :- Deffo recommend it.
