Big hugs to you and your little man. Try to get rest, I know it is easier said than done but think positive and with all the healing thoughts coming your way, things will be fine I'm sure. As you say he seems o.k in himself so that must be a positive thing.

yes that the line of thought i'm thinking of,( or trying too) as he does seem well in himself at present, altouogh drinking loads,so i'm hoping it is some form of infection, i could understand if he was a stud dog or something, but he is NOT, he is a very much loved pet dog .
but was just alarming to see the blood, but vets are doing everything for him, and i'm eternally grateful to all the veterinary staff, that they are doing everything they can.
so it is very much a waiting process and nothing i can do, apart form wait for the call from my vets.
