She won't be transferred to my local vet as they no longer offer a 24 hour service
. There would only be someone popping in on her a couple of times during the night and I am not sure that is a good idea tbh
. She would have been transferred to where she is even if she had been admitted locally as the one she is in is an actual 24 hr animal hospital.
I am still in two minds as to whether I should go and see her. Perhaps if she is sleeping and no longer so stressed and panting, then she is best left to sleep and (hopefully) heal.
I have just rung again and the second lot of painkillers seem to have worked and she is sleeping. She's not out of the woods yet though, it is still to early to say how much damage has been done.
