Auntie Nicola took him out with her lot this avo and on the way back he started coughing/retching/clearing his throat and producing saliva. He was very meek and quiet and seemed uncomfortable. It also seemed like he couldnt catch his breath so the pair of us were very worried and Nic took him along to the vet while I took my daycare dogs home. He has ingested a lot of water so his stomach is very bloated and sore. This isnt like Krum at all though to drink very much. He was given two injections, one anti-emetic and one anti-inflammatory. The coughing noise had stopped while he was there but when I went in an hour later he started up again and there was spots of blood in the saliva so he could have also swallowed something he shouldnt have like a piece of stick and its scratched his throat. Nothing to see down the throat and his lungs are clear but if he doesnt improve or deteriorates by the morning he's to be knocked out and get an endoscopy just in case there's a blockage....
He's a bit brighter but still not himself at all and the sight of the blood panics me every time. Keep your fingers and paws crossed its nothing serious and he's back to normal soon. I feel ill with worry as does Nic I think even though she has no reason to blame herself
