Yet ANOTHER issue with Diesel - poor soul :-(

Well if wee Diesel ain't been through enough in the last 2 weeks with possible allergy/ skin condition and anal glands I'm now seeing a lump forming on the back of his neck, the lump is where the microchip was put in but is the size of half a golf ball - is this normal :-(

Has he had an injection recently? Sometimes you can get a reaction at the injection site that will cause a swelling.

sounds like a reaction to an injection to either vaccination or antibiotics/anti-inflammatory etc...

Im sure in time this will resolve...you could always ask the vet on Weds to have a little look but def sounds like a reaction which will go down (it can take a few weeks though)...

Jasper gets a lump on the back of his neck as reaction to any jabs (ie his regular vacs) so we now have to have them in the bum... Chances are if Diesel is a bit sensitive to things, its one of the recent jabs he will of had  :-*

Ok that makes me feel a bit better :-) I'll ask on we'd although he still having bad diarriah even though he on the rice and that and he been getting his medicine stuff - feeling so heart sorry for him - vet said on fri if he still has diarriah today then to take him back in so just waiting for him to go to the toilet but I don't think he drinkin much either - he eating but reluctantly, poor wee soul :-(

Charlie doesn't get a lump but is very poorly after vaccinations  :'(.

Thanks guys :-) will call vets tomorrow as they told me to do so if he had diarriah all weekend... So will see what they say, I know the poor wee soul not been having much of a break - had him for 3-4 weeks and he been at vets 6 times already :-( I'm determined to get the wee soul up to full great health !!!
