Ode to Byron (30.9.2002 - 2.1.2019)

For our golden boy
Who always shone,
The lights have dimmed
The spark has gone.

Of all our Cockers
You taught me well,
Of patience and intuition
I’ve tales to tell.

Our journey together
Has come to an end,
You’ll be sorely missed
My faithful friend.

Just know that we loved you
And always will
Cherish the memories
Our hearts they will fill.

Now I must bid you
Adieu with a sigh.
It’s so heartbreaking knowing
The end is nigh.

Farewell dearest Byron
I hope you sleep tight.
Meet Holly at the Bridge
It’s time to reunite!
