Agility for fun in Bedfordshire?????
« on: April 02, 2009, 11:56:06 AM »
I am looking to start doing agility with Maisie, she has so much energy being a working cocker that i think just walking, well hurtling, about the countryside must be a bit boring for her, i want to stimulate her with something a bit more fun whilst getting some training.

We live in Bedfordshire, near Biggleswade, and have been looking for an agility club but cant find anything, any ideas????

I think Maisie would love it, she loves her trianing classes already but i just wanted something extra to give her that added stimulation rather than just chasing her tail around the living room  :005:  ::)

thanks!!!

Hi there

have just found this club, although I personally know nothing about them, someone from your area may be able to help  you.

There are two classes based in Offley (nr Hitchin):

http://www.dogbasics.co.uk/ fun/infomal classes with basic jumps, tunnels, weaves

http://www.dogschool.org.uk/ also includes bigger equipment like dog walk, see-saw etc

Have been to both and really enjoyed them.  :D

Maisie is loving agility!!!!!  We did it in the pouring rain last week and the week before and still she was bolting around and didn't need any treats!!!  Constant tail wagging too!!  thanks for all your advice!!  What session do you go to emms?  :D
