Have just read this on the BBC site about a dog that died after being bitten by a new variety of tick.  Sure it is not a big problem but best to be aware!  It looks like it may have come in via lorries from the continent.

I saw that on the news, its quite frightening actually, they did say there was going to be more and more cases of this and also humans are at risk too :o

That is scary. Indie has never had a tick yet luckily, but the thought of them gives me the creeps.
