Vegas' Results Are In
« on: April 11, 2005, 05:28:18 PM »
Got the majority of the results back this afternoon and it would seem we are dealing with a kidney problem :(  I wasn't expecting any abnormalities in the blood work up as he appears fine in himself and he isn't even 3 years old.  Although the levels are above normal reference range, they are not massively increased so I am going to put my optimistic head on ;) The vet is going to wait for the remainder of the results to come back before compiling a plan of action - hopefully there won't be any other nasty surprises to come  Should have them in the next day or two.

Hope the next batch of results are OK Gill :(   On the positive side, it's good to know that you may have an answer to the problems, lets just hope whatever the problem is that is easily treatable ;)   Keep us posted.

Sorry about the results and I hope that the awaited ones are better news.

Parsley dried or raw and honey are both excellent for the kidneys and I used these on a twice daily basis in the past with my old dog and they halved the toxic creatinine and urea levels with her within 4 weeks. It even amazed my Vet.

A maintenance dose is once daily.

Poor Vegas - he's not having much luck is he ? :( Here's hoping the rest of the tests have a better outcome and that the kidney problem can be overcome.

Good luck, Gill.
