Norton Live Update wont update!

Try downloading the Def manually with the following link. It should get you protected again.

just done that and got this message:

Your virus definitions cannot be updated
Your subscription has expired.You must renew your subscription to continue using intelligent updater.Run live update from norton Antivirus to renew your subscription and then run intelligent updater again.

Now i've checked on my Norton internet security and my subscription doesn't run out until june this year.
What on earth is going on here

I know it sounds silly but is your date, year and time right ?

I've ditched Norton too, used up too much memory and slowed my computer down no end.  What I use now is Blueyonders own program called PC Guard, it's free if you are a Blueyonder subscriber, so far it's kept me virus and spyware free!  Plus it has a parental control and pop up stopper!

Mmmm I tried that too...for about a day  seemed to take ages and ages to do a scan and it seemed to slow my PC down so it got uninstalled very quickly

Try re-installing live update...

also run windows update as there was a recent compatability issue there......
