Help! Dog has rotated screen!
« on: April 24, 2008, 09:14:32 PM »
Help! Rodaidh just stood on my laptop and the screen went black and when I touched the mouse pad it came back on but the screen is now sideways!! I've never seen a computer go like this before and I have no idea how he did it  >:D >:D  but it's impossible to use it like this and I can't get it back to normal again. What is normally on the bottom of the screen is now going up the right hand side and as I type this it looks like I'm typing uphill. Using the mouse is not easy... can anyone help, how do I rotate it back to normal?! I use Windows Vista.

:005: Sorry, no help, but Alfie keeps turning mine off, he knows just what button to press when he leaps at the table.  :005:

Hope you get it sorted otherwise you will have one very stiff neck.

Hold down the CTRL and ALT keys and press the 'up arrow' key

Rudy does this ALL the time. >:D It's an orange worker thing obviously. ::) It took me ages to figure out what he'd done the first time. He's always turning the pooter off and knocking the phone off the desk too. Nosy wotsit. >:( :005:

 :005:

thanks to barkley, our laptop has lost it's F3 key forever (happily it doesn't seem to be that important... yet!) and he has frequently sent completely illegible messages to my friends on msn.

p.s. i'm so tempted to try and deliberately make the screen move but am a bit scared that i might not be able to get it back to normal.  ph34r
