files not opening

Does any have any idea why all of a sudden Excel files won't open proberly. When you click on the saved file it normally opens the workbook. But for some strange reason it's stoped doing that and just opens the excel window but not the actual saved workbook. I'm then having to go back through 'file open' in the top left hand corner to retreave saved work.

Go to the help tab in  any of the office suite and select detact and repair.

This is the first place to start- other than rebooting.

It will take a number of minutes to do and wont tell you if it found anything...

The next step, if the above doesn't work is to recreate the global/normal template.
