 After spending the last few days worrying about everything and anything have finally got my new pup home. She is fast asleep now after a busy afternoon exploring the garden. Wouldn't have her tea but have some goats milk for later. No doubt she is going to wake up soon and then keep me awake for the rest of the night. :005: Oh Oh I can hear her stirring as I type. Will post some pics later. Wish us luck.

Aw, make the most of your little one - we have had Clover only two weeks and already I can see how much she has changed. It doesn't take them long to settle in and soon your littl'un will be following you around and wanting to sit on your feet. I was kneeling up on the floor the other evening and Clover got on the backs of my legs and curled up to sleep! Most inconvenient and I wouldn't have thought very comfy for her either - it certainly wasn't for me! :011: Anyhow, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy, and do post some pics as soon as you get a spare moment! ;)

Well wide awake now, fed and watered. Let's hope I can tire her out before bed. I don't think she wants to sit on my feet yet, just bite them. :005: Thanks for your messages

lol, i remember the days of wearing our pup out before bed and pokin gher if she slept too much in the evening :005: :005: :005: :005: Those puppy moments dont last forever, savour them. Our pup is 7 months now and I spent the first few months of having her so tense that I didnt enjoy her as much as I could have. She is a little sweetie and i couldnt imagine life without her now.

Congratulations on having your new member of the family.
Enjoy the puppy days while they last, they tire you out and you sleep like a log.
Welcome to COL by the way .

Congratulations on your new puppy and Good Luck. :clapping:
As Sue (Snoo) posted, we have only had her and her sister for 2 weeks and in that time I have noticed a change in my little one. BTW I'm owned by a Blue Roan Show Type puppy called Betsy.
Betsy says welcome to the new pup too! :005::005:

avis
have you got any piccies of your baby yet - can't wait to see her :luv: (I've been quite stressed with Toby too but at 18 weeks old, he seems to be calming down a bit thank Heaven)
-
Avis, I am a right old stress head....lol Hows it all going? xxxx
-
Maddy74 Hi, It's going really well. Misty is very pleased with my training :005:. She is teaching me that I need to be much more consistent to get her to do what I want, but she can sit lovely to voice and hand signal. She is persistent in her efforts to find small stones and eat them and is challenging me to stop her biting my shoes and trousers (whilst I'm wearing them) :016:. Today we are starting 'being alone' training. Only got up once through the night for toilet so not as tired today. Still stressed with the stone eating and play biting bu hopefully we'll get there. How about you?

Good luck and enjoy. We have had Toby for 4 months and he is now well established and seems to be our family dog now not the "ah cute, omg whats he doing, help!" puppy!
He now lets me leave the room without following, lets me go to the loo without crying and no longer barks at me when I turn my back on him to wash up!
Ah we love him.
