Grateful thanks to all who have given advice the most valuable of which turns out to be the recommendation of getting her some Burns mini bites.
She has been on the Burns for 3 days now and her pooh is almost as it should be.
Her howling is getting so much better and today she has learnt to sit on command for a reward of a mini bite which is great at 8 weeks 4 day's especially for a Cocker!
She is sleeping with no howls from 10pm ish right through to 7am ish and will go to her bed quietly for a couple of hours during the day bliss!
She is playing happily with her 6 month old brother ( or lover?) Barney the Border Collie and all is happy in our home once again.
