Tried to change my profile pic - but failed :(

Hi I tried to change my profile pic, browsed new photos saved on desktop, tried to change but now i just see a red cross - can anyone help ? Thanks

How big was the photo you tried to use? The system sometimes rejects very big avatar photos so that could be the reason if yours was on the large size.

Yep that happens to me sometimes. I just go to resize image in my pics and change it from 100 to 90 and that usually works.

Thanks - just tried that to 50 % and still not showing.

Could a Mod re-instate my old pic at all rather than a red cross lol

Will it not just load your original pic as it did before. Otherwise I'm sure one of the lovely Mods will give you a hand resizing the image.
