Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy your new addition. Keep a sense of humour, and when it gets too much, time out for the pair of you! ;)

Welcome!
Our 'wish we knew what we know nows':
-Stock pile socks as previously suggested!
-Stock pile on wine (or your preferred tipple!!) We've made one to many trips to the local shop at 10pm after a night of puppy hell!
-ignore the negative & praise the positive!!! In everything that they do!!!
-never be afraid to use this forum for emotional unloading! I've cried through many posts I've typed on here!
-keep a sense of humour, and love your bundle of joy with every ounce :)
Good luck!! And enjoy!! They are the best of companions

Relatively new here so just trawling through and gathering as much intel as possible before our new pup Alfie’s arrival on 5 May.
I thought this original post was a great question, and I wondered whether - a year and a bit on - there are any further “if I knew thens”?
Also, any must-haves in the equipment list? I feel like I’ve got everything (thank god for online shopping in lockdown mode!), but what are the things you couldn’t do without?
Thanks so much,
Steve

Hi Steve, I’m same as you although I have had a cocker until she sadly died last year at the ripe age of 14.
We are getting a new puppy in about 3 weeks and I’m trying to brush up on my puppy knowledge. Starting to feel a bit nervous!
