Hi I'm Donna and I am spaniel daft.
I got married last year and managed to twist my husband Scott round my little pinky and he agreed to let me buy a puppy. I have grown up with cockers and just hated going home to an empty house and not having a dog to run around daft with (well you look daft running about yourself eh !?). Scott had never had a dog before so this was going to be interesting.
Molly is a Blue Roan from Inverness and is a wee sweetie. She is mostly 'my' dog if you can say that. She takes orders from me and blanks Scott much to my amusement and his dismay, but he loves her to bits and can't imagine the house without her now. (well we can - it would be tidier - no paper ripped up in every corner, no paw prints all over the kitchen and no huge holes dug in the garden ;D)
I am so glad that I have found this forum for some questions for my pup, as she has interesting wee habits that I have never seen in any of my other spaniels - like plaster eating from the walls :- Still - shes mine and I love her to bits ;)

Hi Donna, welcome aboard - we've plenty of Scottish members, so you're in good company ;)
ps my own cocker was chewing some bits of plasterboard at the weekend... the chalk made her foam at the mouth and be sick... but could I get it off her? no, she wanted to carry on chewing ::) ;D

Hi Donna and hello to Molly ;)
She sounds like a pretty typical cocker to me ;D

Hi Donna, Welcome aboard. :D
Fraid I have had some plaster eaters ??? One of mine used to gnaw away at the kitchen walls, what made it worse was they were newly plastered :o
Oh well the holes can be filled ;D

welcome Donna and Molly.
Yup sounds like typical cocker behaviour - Millie went through a stage of eating the skirting board at the top of the stairs .. and attempting to re-decorate by stripping off bits of wall paper :o ::) - recently though she has stopped both - but we're not re-decorating until we're totally sure she's finished her handiwork! ;D

Hello Donna & Molly and Welcome to COL ;D
I'm in Central Scotland.....nice to have another scottish member ;)
like plaster eating from the walls
Buttons loves plaster eating to ::) she gnaws at it in my kitchen and the living room, What makes me laugh is that when I've been out she looks all innocent...must teach her to look in the mirror before I come home because the plaster chewing evidence is all over her nose ::) ;D
Hope you enjoy the board :D

Welcome to COL, I'm in NE Scotland as well so it sounds like you might not be far away :D
Cooper used to be a plaster eater as well - thankfully he has found other things to chew now. shredding clean nappies seems to be a good one at the moment! Thankfully he doesn't get the dirty ones :-X

Hi Donna and welcome also to Molly, the cheeky monkey ! ;D No plaster or wallpaper eating here yet but Misty did manage a good chew on my Sky remote yesterday. It's got all sharp jaggedy plastic bits sticking out of it now. ::)
