We miss you SO much that it hurts.

A day like any other,
but one thing is amiss.
we cannot give our little girl
a great big birthday kiss.
We can not make her special treat
to celebrate her day.
We remember how she devoured it,
in that special Freya way.
We can still see her vividly,
but long still for her touch.
We miss our little cocker
So very, very much.
She was the best of friends to us
and had so much to give.
She'll stay with us in spirit for
long as we may live.
For Freya on her 12th birthday.
