Hi, I have never heard of it, just googled it and this is the ingredient list for the puppy formula.

Ground Maize,Chicken Meat Meal, Round Grain Rice, Chicken,Chicken Fat, Maize Gluten Meal, Dried Whole Egg, Dried Sugar Beet Pulp, Cellulose Fibre, Full Fat Linseed, Sunflower Meal, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Yeast, Kelp, Monocalcium Phosphate, Iodised Salt, Methionine, Vitamin E, Choline Chloride, Zinc Oxide, Manganous Oxide, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Niacin, Iron Sulphate, Calcium Pantothenate, Copper Sulphate, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Vitamin B2, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D3, Vitamin B1, Folic Acid, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite.

I'm not liking the maize, corn and beet pulp in it.
whichdogfood.com is a good site to look for dog/puppy food.

Neither Salters nor CSJ seem to come out very well on whichdogfood when it comes to the list of ingredients. There appears to be a fair amount of fillers and grain in both their puppy foods. Both also contain additional salt.

I'd suggest you have a look at Acana or Orijen, both from Champion petfoods in Canada and compare the ingredients. Although initially more expensive the high protein content and lack of filler ingredients means that a smaller amount of the kibble is required per day.

Both our cockers have been raised on Orijen puppy food and are now on the adult version with Acana being fed as an alternative to provide some variety.

Bob.

Also have a look at eden, made all meats are sourced in the uk, grain free, comes in two varieties,
Also feed less as it has no fillers , cereals, beet pulp etc.
Very reasonable too at £54 for a 15kg bag.
Riley has been thriving on eden for over 10 months now.

Applaws is very good too, no cereals in here. Dennis started on the puppy food, now all three are on adult. Supposed to be £55 for 12.5kg, but I regularly get it for under £40

Otto has always been fed on salters , never really had any digestive problems and very glossy coat , he is also the perfect weight so we are pleased.Quite a lot of people use it around here, it is pricey but you don't need very much .
