ins tall our printer on my laptop ??  ive been back to currys today to  see if we can order a disk to sort our printer out to our main puter , they said do it on line at HP  been trying all afternoon with no chance , thought it may be easier to link it to mine instead ?? thanks love ruth  ;)

You will need to know the model of printer and the operating system you are using on the computer or laptop in order to download the correct drivers from the HP website.......then it's just a case of plugging it in......is it a USB connection for the printer?

OK, what model printer is is? What operating system are you running?

right Rachel , im not brill with this sort of stuff so , the printer is HP psc 1402 and my lappy is on windows xp , its a HP pavillion dv6000 is that the info you wanted ???? thanks love ruth xxxxxxxxx ;)

Start here and follow the instructions - connecting the printer when the instructions on screen require it:
