Also New!
« on: December 03, 2007, 06:18:02 PM »
Hi all,
thought I had best introduce myself as am going to be asking for a lot of advice over the coming months. 'm Lisa and the other half is Richard and we are about to become the v v proud (if not slightly nervous) parents to Fred (Black and White).  We are up in N Scotland near the coast and the hills so are hoping he will enjoy the outdoors as we do.  we collect him next sunday and cant wait. If anyone has any good tips for settling a pup into his new home I would love to hear them

Hi there, were from sunny Scotland as well  :shades: . I have 3 Labs, a working cocker, a JRT, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 18 hens, 5 Guinea fowl and 5 fish  :005:

I have just had the stork here on Saturday with my new addition. Slightly different though he is a Lab and generally alot more laid back than a cocker  :005:

It is very easy to say what to do and what not to do. With a new baby im as soft as putty and tend to just allow them to be puppies, which in the early days usually means a wee play, eat poop and sleep  :005:

There is lots of advice on here for you to search for but if you are in any doubt we all will do our best to help.  ;)

Enjoy it here

Hello!

You must be so excited about getting your new Pup!  I remember how time dragged so much while we waited for Poppy to arrive.  She is 24 weeks now so nearly at the 6 month mark and its passed so quickly.

Wishing you all the best!

Amanda & Poppy

Hi and welcome to COL. We have 2yr old Buddy who is recovering from a couple of bits of surgery, and before that had a bit of a reputation with the ladies!

Such an exciting time.

Two bits of advice

From now until Sunday: sleep as much as you can!

From Sunday onwards: take photos of his every move! (and post them on here!)
