Ellie where have you been for the last three years, i went straight out and bought a sporn harness, after reading your comments,  so why have i struggled with all the other things in the past, put it on her last week, no way was this going to work i thought :005: But i was wrong! she even pulled wearing a halti even with her head pulled to the side >:D
Well i have a different dog (not really its still Lucy) no pulling!!! we have walked further and longer in the last week than we have for ages she is just brilliant on it and she no longer scoots along sideways either :005: :005:
Thankyou so much you have cured my cocker bless her ;)

max is still walking really well on his harness, i have tried everything other than this harness and its the only thing that works,

i dont see the harm in using a way that works for anything :shades:

we got alfie a harness on wednesday, i cant believe the difference in him, i wasnt able to take him and my 4year old daughter out 2gether before as he pulled me soo much, i felt like i was ignoring the wee one, he tries to pull but he cant really, i feel like i have total control over him which is ace, we got ours from the vets it was £7.99 well worth the money
Wishing Everyone A Merry Xmas And A Happy New Year!

;) wow , im one happy lady tonight , ive been to PAH this afternoon , and bought a sporn for alfie , he pulls like a train , im sure my left arm is longer than the right since i got him , kookie laughed when she saw him a few weeks ago and saw he was in such a rush to go off for a walk i nearly ended up on the floor , [again]  :005: ive just taken them to the field and it was like walking a different dog , its amazing even gary commented , how lovely he was walking , im so chuffed with it going to get hunny one too , she walks nice but since getting alfie they compete to get in front and wherever were going first , so madam can have on too  :lol2:, just wish i bought it earlier would have saved many a bump and fall  ph34r love ruth xxxxxxxx

what is a sporn harness?  I got a harness for Dax but it didn't work out - it made him worse for pulling than ever - also bought the bungee lead but it is awful - we have gone back to a collar and lead  :005:

Have you thought about a head collar Anne?

Hi - just seen your post - no I haven't; not really keen if I can train to a collar and lead - am trying the red light, green light system (per culture clash) at the moment but progress is sloooow but am starting to see some improvement but a looong way to go - have seen another harness which leads from the front but I'll see how we go with the leash training and might consider that as a last resort.  ;) See you on the 10th  :lol2:

I'm glad it seems to be working for you, long may it continue.  :D

We had mixed results with a Sporn, and in the end he pulled right through it - plus it matted the fur on his legs despite grooming before and after use.  :-\

I had the same with Coco, at first he was fine on the sporn harness, but then he got used to it.  I have recently purchased a easi-fit harness and I must admit that it is easier to put on Coco he doesn't get wound up by it, there is no
putting it over the head, plus no matting under the front legs.
