I picked up a huge bag of it the other day cos Tesco don't seem to to Autarkey anymore  and I'm sure I read somewhere that they were pretty much the same except Autarkey was slightly better quality. I'll be trying them on it tomorrow so shall report back  ;)

Ok - only given it to Dallas so far because Harlem is still on his feast of chicken & rice but so far so good. He enjoys it (although I've not known him to turn his nose up at anything) and his poos are fine. Obviously its only been 2 days so I'll give it a few more weeks and see if it has any affect on behaviour, skin, coat etc.

Cazza, I fed Ronald and Hooch on Gusto for a long long time and have fed Mikey and Herbie on it in he past when I was pregnant and couldn't face raw meat.  All of my dogs have done very well on it, better than on Autarky.  It is very very cheap and I guess that's why many people stay away from it  and it is also not as well known but my dogs enjoy Gusto.  We call it Gutso  :005:, and I get it in our local cow mills, it was costing for a 10kg or 15kg (can't remember for sure what size) bag for Ronald (senior) about £4.50 a bag.

I have yet to hear anything bad about it and from my experience it's been pretty good - Ronald did live until he was 15 :D.
Love Michele, Mikey and Herbiexx
