American cockers needing homes: American Cocker rescue
« on: May 21, 2008, 02:15:34 PM »
Am crossposting to see if anyone is interested in either dg from American Cocker rescue

"We have 2 Yankees urgently needing new homes at the moment. Both situated in North East (ish)

The most urgent is a 7 year old Black dog called Jake, he is a lovely boy, housetrained and very well behaved, but sadly has been unable to adapt to a baby in the household. Having been an "only child" for 6 years, he was OK at first when a new baby was born last year, but now the baby is crawling Jake cannot cope, and is making it very clear he does not like the baby at all. Therefore a home without children is being sought. He lives near Sunderland.

Oscar is a 4 year old Black & White, and is also housetrained and has a lovely nature. Sadly, due to a death in the family his "primary carer" is no longer available, so he is missing his long walks, and is having ot be left alone for long periods. He lives in Northallerton.

If anyone is interested please reply to the post or contact me at g.oake@sky.com
bye
Gwen"

May be post a reply on the thread to say you've emailed re them. Most people who help out with rescue have other jobs too or have a rescue emergency so it pays to be patient (I work fulltime plus rescue work plus other community work)
