Sugar Snap Peas

This is the first year I've grown sugar snaps in my garden and I've discovered that Bramble LOVES them. She sits waiting for me to harvest them for my son (who is addicted to them  ::)) and eats each one I give her as if it were a chicken wing or some other meat based goody.

Does anyone know if they do any harm to dogets?

They will be fine for her - I've saved the pods from a load of peas we shelled yesterday to blitz up with their veg mix later.

Be careful she doesn't go harvesting them herself  ;)

Hi jools,
Mine loves sugarsnap peas!
I am beginning to wonder if he's not some kind of rabbit in disguise as he's on a BARF diet and is fussy with his meat but loves crunching up sugarsnap peas and broccoli  ::)
He eats loads of them whole and they never seem to have done him any harm though  ph34r

I've got some purple sprouting broccoli in the veg patch too.....have to try her on that. Poppy has now decided she likes sugar snaps too....but that's just because she hates to feel she's missing out on something.  ::)

They are funny aren't they?!
The sugarsnaps and broccoli are definitely Merry's favs - I think it's something to do with the crunchiness.

Zorro's been eyeing up the broad beans in our garden lately and anytime you pick anything he comes and checks it out.

His big love is strawberries - when we were on hols in Cornwall there was a strawberry patch in a raised bed and he quickly discovered it and kept helping himself, cheeky minx! The vet thought it was hilarious when he was asking if he'd had anything to eat (before picking a day to do his ear op) and Ali said "he's had his breakfast and a strawberry"  :lol2: :luv:

Bella's a bit more particular, prefers organic fruit and veg and will turn her nose up at a non-organic carrot. ::) :005:
