about to own a clumber
« on: February 24, 2009, 11:19:11 PM »
Hi.  Been lurking around for a while since a friend who has a cocker alerted me to the site.  We are soon to be owners of a Clumber Spaniel.  First time to own a spaniel - had a rough colllie and a goldie before.  Looking forward to the experience when she arrives!

Welcome to COL!  I’m mum to ten month old Brodie, who is a liver roan show type :luv:.  You must be very excited.  I don’t think I’ve ever met a clumber before - please post photos as soon as possible! :lol2:

Really looking forward to 'meeting' your Clumber Spaniel and I hope you enjoy COL as much as I do. We have two lovely show cockers - Bella, four year old blue roan and Mabel, six month old chocolate and white. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your new girl - the pressure is on!!

Wow! Thanks everybody for all your good wishes.  She's three and a half and is called Kimi.  She's had a litter of the most beautiful puppies and as soon as they all have homes she'll come to stay with us.  Can't wait :D.  If I can work out how to post pictures, I will!! :-\

Sounds wonderful  :luv:

You will be a pro at posting pics before you know it! There is a thread on posting pictures, but perhaps your COL friend will be able to show you?  Dead easy  ;)

Hello! I'd be very interested to see and hear about your new arrival . I have a working cocker
the Ginger Boy- but I suspect from his interest in flushing furries that there's more than a
hint of clumber back there somewhere. He's quite different to the other cockers I've known.

good luck- all spaniels are a delight
