Not a question, more an observation
After several 'mysterous' episodes of Kye being sick but only bringing up bile, Pepper suddenly followed suit one morning. No change in food, but they had done more exercise than normal.
I posted on a couple of forums and spoke to a friend of mine who suggested that my current method of feeding was the problem.
Up to then I had been feeding dried in the morning and raw at night. My friend pointed out that the dried food takes a lot longer to digest ( i knew this, just didn't put it together) and that the dogs would have digested the meat a long time before they woke up again.
So now they get a small meal of dried food (talking 25g for Pepper, 50g for kye) with some live yoghurt mixed in. Touch wood, so far we've had no more problems. If it does come back I will be off to the vets.
my plan is (once we've used up the current food)to try them on raw morning and night and give them orijen at night just to tide them over.
