Wood is one of Jack's fave things to chew. He tends to spit it out rather than eat it though. If I see him I try to get it off him, have an awful image of him splintering his gums or throat or something. I think when it comes to wood outside, apart from watching closely to get it off them, its difficult to stop them. Unfortunately for us we have lots of trees and things in our garden so theres an abundance of wood  ::)

yep, both mine like a good chew on wood in the garden, they don't tend to swallow...just chew

Dylan has done this from being a pup, i tend to pick up bits of wood that has been washed up on the beach as it seems to make the wood softer and hopefully less chance of splinters  :D
