beef ribs
« on: April 07, 2009, 02:27:45 PM »
I just bought Ruby some raw beef ribs, the butcher said "according to my vet you don't feed these to your dog" i said "yes you can as long as they aren't cooked"

Now i'm doubting myself, can she eat these

                  Thanks in advance  ;)
People laugh at me because I'm different, but I laugh at them because they are all the same.

They are 'safe' but beef ribs are quite hard so she may have trouble actually eating them. Mine have had these a few times and they've managed to crunch most of them up but it takes them far longer than pork or lamb ribs. I don't give them that often as really hard bones can wear down the teeth.
