how much should i be feeding alfie
he was being fed once a day but ive upped this til two as he seems hungry
but he has soo much energy and burns everything off, im worried about how thin he looks

well what an improvement in alfie, spoke to our vet last week and his diahorrea was just with worming him, we also changed his food as he was pooing alot and it wasnt solid we have now changed his food and what a difference in a week!

what are you feeding?

As he sounds so much like Braan i would feed twice a day as they burn it off so quick - Braan was on the guide line of the packet but is now nearly on double that to get the weight on him and also being fed raw tripe

We always feed our dogs twice a day - split their full allowance of food over two meals - 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. Even as veterans our dogs are still on 2 meals a day.

If he looks think then I too would be increasing his food and splitting it over 2 meals.
