I have noticed this evening that my total number of posts has not increased from 344, although I have added around 6 new posts tonight, the figure has not increased.  I have not checked this before so don't know how long there has been a problem.  Can anyone advise.

Where have you been posting? Not all posts on all boards will add to your post count (posts on Anything Goes for example won't add to your count). Your count is at 346 at the moment - if you're seeing something different, you may need to clear your internet cache and/or cookies in case your browser is displaying out of date info.
