Hugo has gone missing sometime overnight in the GU52 area (Church Crookham) He's a small black and white tagged and microchipped. The side gate was found unsecured this morning. He's rather a nervous dog, unlikely to go with strangers. I feel sick to the stomach.
eta I've put him on Doglost and contacted our local dog warden. Photo now on Doglost all local vets have been informed.

Oh no! Keeping fingers, paws and everything crossed that‘s he‘s found safe soon! Sending :bigarmhug: and lots of postive thoughts........please keep is posted!

Elaine, just wanted to offer a little bit of reassurance if poss - if he's a bit nervous, I doubt he'll have gone far and if you can't find him it's likely he'll wander home on his own soon enough. Jack was once missing for a couple of hours, and despite me tramping round biting my nails, I came home, knowing that at least he's chipped, and is well known in the area. Ten minutes later he trotted down the drive happy as Larry, wet through and black as the ace of spades but didn't seem any worse for the adventure.
Wishing you all the best and hoping that he turns up safe and sound very soon if not before.

Hoping Hugo is found safe and well very soon :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug:

Thank you Elaine, I'm not a Facebook member myself so that's much appreciated.
No news yet unfortunately. Mr H has been out most of the day looking for him and alerting every dog walker he came across. Posters have been put up around the area including convenience stores and the local pet shop.
I'm feeling quite frantic now, Hugo isn't a very streetwise dog and could easily take fright in traffic. :'(
eta just had a call that a dog matching his description has been sighted about half a mile away running in and out of gardens. Husband has been sent hot-foot to the area. Keep fingers crossed please
It's him!! He's found :D :D :D :D Thank you for all your good wishes :-*

He is absolutely shattered poor thing. :luv: He's now trying to sleep in his favourite armchair but he's restless, probably still feeling a wee bit panicked after all he did cross a busy main road all by himself ph34r Eek!
Morgan can't understand what all the fuss is about, HE's had a lovely quiet day without the little nephew!
Loud snoring from the armchair ;) so good to have him back. Thank you everyone.

Oh my goodness, what a scary experience that has been for all (except for Morgan! :005: ). So relieved it has all ended well, hope Hugo settles after a good night's sleep. Phew!

Sorry only just seen this. Thank goodness you have found him. You must be so relieved. I can only imagine how frantic you have been. You hear such horror stories these days about dogs being stolen. Hugo you need to realise which side your bread is buttered. Sending :bigarmhug:

Thank goodness for that - I'll bet you're counting your blessings
