Change from puppy food to adult food
« on: March 20, 2014, 01:59:29 PM »
Hi guys,

Tedster is approaching 1yr old. He has been in Beta puppy since weened onto solid food from his breeder. What do I do - I need to buy food do I keep with beta and change to adult mixture or do I go for something else also does it matter when I do it? He'll be 1 in April so very soon.. Should I just buy the adult next time I buy food or shall I wait a bit longer??

Your advice is always valuable so please suggest away...  :D

Thanks x

Hi Wendy, me again lol
As you know Riley came to us on Beta too, we changed that right away, well about a week after he came to us.
He was on james wellbeloved puppy then junior so yes I changed to adult at 12 months.

However he is now on eden, which he has been on  now for a year and its  a fab food with no cereals, fillers, grain etc. Which incidently is suitable from weaning till old age, so bascially no change.
Basically you can change now to whatever you want.

Why dont you look at this site http://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk/
It gives you a rundown of all dog foods and an analysis and you can compare all foods and see if you would like to change Ted to a completely different food completely.
