Don't forget that if you are giving an egg in the daily meal plan to take some of the canin out! or you are giving a daily amount plus the egg! its like you having Mc Donalds breakfast every day! and any training treats need to be adjusted for too.

No eggs are fine, not junk food, its just that it can be over the daily calorie intake if you don't allow for it out of the canin. I give my girls a raw egg a week for their coats and just reduce the canin a bit to accommodate it thats all!
Agility training night the trainee also gets less canin as they have had treats at the training night.
The Mc donalds bit was just a really bad example! but if we all had McD's instead of cereal as well as all our normal meals we would get a bigger than we would probably like. Now must go the pizza and diet coke are calling!

sorry yes i understand! To be honest i hadnt looked at the measuring cup the first day or so, as i just left food down until hed settled in. But it was only when i did come to measure, and taken the amount hed eaten the previous day, seemed a hell of a lot! Hes eating a good 3/4 of it - or maybe the cat has 1/4 of that! Took a shine to it!  ::)
