I am obviously new to the site, and i need advice,...

I have a lovely solid black girl Ebony who is 21 months, am currently feeding her Robbies holistic food, which she loves and is thriving on but im reading more and more about raw food diets.....i often try Ebony with the odd bit of chicken etc and she loves it, i just need some more advice about the benefits to it and the reasons to switch....

wow thankyou, had a read through them and it does make perfect sense.....

i think wot i may do is try ebony with more raw chicken and try a chicken wing and see how she gets on..........

and if things go well start introducing other raw foods,

how long do you think it will take to convert her diet to a BARF diet???

Glad you found the links useful

every dog is different so I wouldn't like to give a time factor as you want to introduce things slowly just in case there is an intolerance to any food and this way you will be able to rule out what food it is - as like us humans some dogs can't tolerate say chicken or beef or pork etc
