Title: Dry nose
Post by: annclare on May 05, 2020, 03:25:15 PM
My elderly cocker has a very dry nose. I had been using Vaseline on it but have read on the internet that it may not be good for them so thinking of sending for Snout Balm - anyone used this?

I use snout balm on my cocker when her nose gets dry. It's not a miracle cure, mostly because my dog keeps trying to lick it off. But it does seem to help when I apply it regularly. Keeps her nose from getting sore and the skin from cracking. Much better option than vaseline imo!

I use snout balm. It especially helped my very elderly staffie. Have also put it on dry pads. Got mine from dogs Trust site. Other sellers available 😄

I used snout balm on Jazz's nose every day.  It does help.   The one I used is Organic Snout Soother by Natural Dog Company.  If I remember correctly, I think I got it on Amazon.  The tin lasts ages.
