Kona, 2 years old at Many Tears
« on: May 27, 2008, 10:50:23 PM »
KONA

27-05-08 Kona is a 2 year old cocker. she is an ex breeding bitch who due to complications never bred. We are trying to sort out her problems now. Kona is a really beautiful, quiet lady who has never lived in a house before so will need help and lots of TLC.

To adopt a dog from Many Tears Animal Rescue you will be home checked, you and all members of your family and any dogs who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the new dog. If adopting a puppy you will need to provide details of training classes in your area. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £140.  If you are interest in adopting please call the rescue centre between 10am and 4pm on 01269 843084. We are unable to return phone calls so please try again if your call is not answered or email us at sw.vanatta@virgin.net.

We saw her first!!! Any ideas what her problems are? Are they just breeding related ?

Please ask Many tears for any details of this girl as this forum is just to advertise them and the dog is not in our care

FOSTER UPDATE

We brought Kona home on Saturday, following her extensive surgery & we can't believe what an absolutely adorable little girl she is. After all she has been through, she craves attention & is soooo sweet.  We cannot be failed fosterers again, (which would be very easy), but she will be with us for at least a week, before she can be adopted.  She loves our dogs, came straight into the house & quickly made herself at home.  She loves the garden, but we have tried to keep her to a walking pace, so that she doesn't overdo it. She loves her food & the settee.  In fact she just loves everything & everyone. What a super little dog for someone looking for someone to love.

I would always take these dogs in a nano - but I have 3 entire boys so for the uniniatiated this is an issue  - at least with the girls - just wanted to point this out based on previous conversations as I did try and was knocked back.  ph34r

My parents completed the adoption form for Kona but were too late.  Never mind, the good news is that she has gone to her new home yesterday.

I am hoping that she has gone to a COL'er
